Forward Sesko will miss out on Slovenia's upcoming matches against Sweden and Kosovo because of a knee problem suffered during the latest match against Tottenham. However, the club remains hopeful that he could return soon enough to face Everton after the international break.
Injury Details and Recovery Period
The attacker was substituted after 87 minutes of Saturday's 2-2 draw against Spurs after being brought on in the 58th minute replacing Noussair Mazraoui. Manager Ruben Amorim expressed concern post-match, resulting in the player's withdrawal from the Slovenia national team.
The club will conduct additional examinations at Carrington this week, but early indications point to a possible recovery in time for the Everton on 24 November.
Other Squad Updates
Maguire and Casemiro likewise had to leave the pitch during the Spurs match. While the defender's status remains unclear, it is understood that the midfielder is available and has joined national team commitments with Brazil.
